This method is going to use iCloud to store an encrypted backup. This is protect you in a situation where you lose access to this device. There are other backup options that are good but I won’t be covering.

1. Generate backup password - We will need to generate a password to encrypt our backup file when uploading to iCloud. If you have bitwarden already installed you can use the password generator in the app, otherwise you can use Password Generator.

For Type select Passphrase.

• Make sure you’re using at least 3 words
• Optional: Capitalize and/or Include Number

Write this down on paper under 2FA Backup Password.
